Aili Ermeli about her exhibition:

"My graphic artworks were created between 2018 and 2024 during summer courses at KUMU, Graafikakoda, and the Okas Museum. I have experimented with traditional intaglio printmaking techniques such as drypoint, aquatint, and etching. These traditional graphic techniques are time-consuming, handcrafted processes that are also deeply meditative. All prints are artist’s proofs.

This approach contrasts with modern digital technology and pays tribute to craftsmanship. Printmaking is created in reverse, and chance plays a significant role in determining the final outcome! My works reflect personal events and societal developments."

All works in this exhibition are being presented for the first time.
