Kristel's work reflects the inspiration drawn from everyday life and the influence of her travels. The more colorful works were created away from Estonia, under the Spanish sun, where the light and warmth have given the paintings a vibrant and lively appearance. At the same time, her work also includes winter landscapes – themes that one begins to long for when abroad. These paintings carry with them homesickness as well as the crispness and silence of the Nordic winter.

Kristel has been connected with art her whole life and still enjoys painting and creating with full passion. She graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts in 2004 and also holds an education degree from Tallinn University.

Kristel still paints a lot and is very productive. She has participated in various art projects, and her works can be found in many homes across several countries.
